Oh happy days, happy days! It is September and we are now officially 1 step closer to my favorite season… Fall. I love this time of year. It’s when schools start up again, hoodies are no longer tragic, and the streets constantly look picturesque. I LOVE IT! With the start of fall and school comes many new things. And oftentimes, these things are scary or uncomfortable. Which is why our September Affirmations are geared towards open-mindedness.

Daily September Affirmations
Instructions: In order to get the full experience with affirmations we must be willing to reflect and understand in order to truly believe. I suggest that you go about your affirmations by reading each one slowly and carefully, taking a break to process and reflect before moving on to the next one. Read each one twice a day: when you wake up and right before going to bed.
The September Challenge
Stepping into a brand new school year and season, I believe that one thing we should all work on is being more open-minded.
And I don’t mean simply saying “I am open minded”. I’m talking about actually taking the opportunity to learn more about others and things without judgement.
As humans, we’re accustomed to judging things that we aren’t familiar with. It’s how we cope with being uncomfortable.
But, why not try a little harder to understand it?
Last month we worked on not judging ourselves, but rather accepting ourselves for who we are. Therefore, let’s extend that acceptance towards others.
When you’re faced with something new, try to be positive, patient, and understanding. You never know how it will turn out. We can all use a little bit of love and kindness.
So live this month as if you’re a newborn baby. No judgement. Just live.
