August Affirmations (Monthly Dose of Confidence)

It’s officially the last month of the summer and I couldn’t be happier!! There’s been so much that has gone down this summer but one things for certain… everyone’s lives changed. That being said, I want to wish you all a happy August and end of summer!! We’re almost done with 2019 so let’s make the rest of this year worthwhile!! For our August Affirmations, I wanted to target self-love.

I know that with everyone’s busy schedule it gets super hard to dedicate time to yourselves. But, if you don’t take care of yourself… who will? No one can function properly without loving themselves first. So let’s get into the habit of showing ourselves love!

Daily August Affirmations

Instructions: In order to get the full experience with affirmations we must be willing to reflect and understand in order to truly believe. I suggest that you go about your affirmations by reading each one slowly and carefully, taking a break to process and reflect before moving on to the next one. Read each one twice a day: when you wake up and right before going to bed.

The August Challenge

This month I want to target something that I know a lot of people struggle with. And that something is called self-love. Whether we realize it or not self-love is a factor in everything we do. It determines our ambition, dedication, mindset, success, happiness, and so much more.

I know for a fact that I’m not the only person out there that has struggled with understanding every part of themselves and loving every perfection and flaw.

Which is why I challenge every single one of you to dedicate a time every day to express love to yourself.

Whether it’s through pampering yourself, journaling, complimenting yourself, meditating, or doing something you love; spend at least one hour a day doing something for you.

And I’m going to keep all of you and myself accountable. Every day, whether through Instagram posts or stories, I will be guiding you on a self-love journey. So make sure you follow me on Instagram!

And remember, everything you do in life begins and ends with you. So why not love yourself?

      So I have the “Ashe” theme from WordPress. If you go under themes or templates I believe, you will find it. I have the free version but I’m looking towards purchasing a theme from somewhere else very soon just so that I can give my blog a fresher look. But thank you so much for checking out my blog!

    Your suggestions for practising self-love sound excellent. Since self-love is sometimes a struggle for me these ideas, and setting aside at least one hour a day doing something for myself, will most likely help 😀

But this whole year I’ve been on a journey of accepting myself for who I am and loving every inch of it. Which is why I wrote this post.
