As many of you already know, reading is my passion and it’s honestly the love of my life. This year I’ve tasked myself with reading 30 books in total, and I’ve been doing pretty good so far. I’ve read about 5 books already which isn’t so bad considering the fact that I’ve been super busy with school. I decided that a great way to keep myself accountable would be to write a reading list for each month and post it on my blog. Obviously, some months I’ll only have 2 or 3 while other months I’ll have a bunch. It all depends on how busy my month will be. I don’t know why I never thought of this considering I make a list out of EVERYTHING!! But better late than never right?
April 2020 Reading List
- What Are Friends For? by Sarah Sutton
- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
- Another Day by David Levithan
- Someday by David Levithan
- I’m Not Dying With You Tonight by Gilly Segal and Kimberly Jones
- Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
Why I Chose These Titles
Obviously, as you can see, they’re all YA (Young Adult) books. YA is my all-time fave genre and it’s mostly what I read. And since April is my birth month I decided to treat myself with all my favorite things. Sadly, because of the quarantine, I won’t be able to have 3/6 books delivered, so I’ll have to read them online. But, I do plan on buying them as soon as this quarantine lifts.
All of these titles are super interesting to me and I’m so excited to start reading and reviewing them.
You’re probably wondering why I have 2 David Levithan books on there, and it’s because the books are part of a trilogy and I already read the first one so I want to finish the trilogy. Then the rest of the books are just titles I’ve wanted to read for a while. I have a huge list of books that just gets longer and longer but actually breaking them down to months is so helpful.
But, that’s it for today. Super short blog post. If you guys have any book suggestions, feel free to dm me or email me! I love discovering new books and connecting with all of you so definitely hit my line!!
Until next time,
