Do you feel that? It’s love… Love is in the air and although I’m not a big fan of Valentines Day, I still want to help all you beautiful couples and friends on this beautiful day. Valentines Day is all about spreading the love and spending time with those you love and making them feel special. Which is why I have comprised a list of 5 different, cute, and fun date ideas you can do with that special someone(s).
1. The Build-A-Bear Workshop Date
Yeah, that’s right, I went there. I believe that no matter how old you are, you are never too old for a stuffed animal. So why not take your loved one and make each other some cute bears. The thing I love about Build-A-Bear is that you can add voice messages to the animals to make it personal. So why not leave a cute message like “I love you” or “you mean the world to me”, that way, they always have a piece of you when they’re missing you. You guys can spend the afternoon picking out clothes and accessories, coming up with the best voice messages, and just enjoying a fun day together. It might not seem like much, but even a small gesture like a teddy bear with a personal message can make a difference.
2. The Billy Beez Date
It’s time to be kids again!!!! I can honestly say that Billy Beez is my most favorite place in the world. I’ve been there twice and each time I go it’s super fun! There are so many slides and trampolines, some even have arcade games and there’s this cool area called the Ballistics Arena. Seriously, no matter what age you are, you will enjoy Billy Beez, TRUST ME!
I think it’s important that we never let go of the kid within us and we remember to have fun. You can even make it into a group date with your friends. The best thing about Billy Beez is that you have an all-day pass. You can literally spend the whole day there for just $20. There’s also a Honey Cafe where you can enjoy some pizza or hot dogs. Although this may sound childish, you’ll end up realizing that its the most fun you’ve ever had.
3. The Chill Date
I consider this to be a great date as well even though it might seem a little cliche. I didn’t know what to call this date exactly because its a variety of different things. The Chill Date starts off with a beautiful walk in the park. While in the park you can ride bikes, play a game, or even just sit on a blanket to enjoy the view.
After the park comes the trip to the ice skating or roller skating rink. This can be super fun and cute as you both hold hands as you ride and then both fall and laugh about it.
Since this date is very chill, the next stop will be a diner. I love diners because there’s something about them that feels so cool and old school. You guys can talk about your dreams and goals while you enjoy some nice Bacon Cheeseburgers with Milkshakes… mmhmm.
Finally, the night ends with a trip to the movies!! Whether its an action movie or a comedy, romance or thriller, make sure its something you both really want to see.
4. The Competitive Date
Everyone loves a little competition, which is why this date is such a cute idea. Imagine this, you start off the date at an arcade like Dave & Busters. You guys go head to head on all the games. You play Pac Man, air hockey, foosball, Dance Dance Revolution, and so much more.
The next place you hit up is a bowling alley! If you’re anything like me, you can’t bowl to save your life. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a fun game together while you eat a bunch of french fries.
Last but not least on this amazing date will be….. a trampoline park! The one around me is called Sky Zone and it’s super cool! I mean, who
5. A Special Night In
This date is probably one of my favorites. This date is all about staying inside and enjoying the little things. I’d say the best way to start off this date is by cooking a nice meal (don’t forget dessert). You can make some steak or pasta or some delicious tacos. No matter what you make, just make sure you cook it together and enjoy the moment. Or, if you don’t want to cook, you can also order take out.
Next step is to build a huge fort, and I’m talking MASSIVE. Round up all your pillows, chairs, blankets, and start putting them together in your living room.
The last step is to have a movie marathon. For this, I’d probably choose the Fast and Furious franchise because it’s my absolute favorite! But,
Okay, I lied. The real ending to the night is going to be…. a Nerf gun war! Become little kids again and chase each other around the house. Nothing screams out love like a good old fashion Nerf war.
No matter what you do this Valentines Day, I want you to remember one thing, enjoy it to the fullest. Make the most out of the day and surround yourself with the people you love. Valentines Day is more than just a time for celebrating love, its a time for making beautiful memories.
I hope that I was able to help you guys out with your ideas for Valentines Day. Be sure to let me know how to went!
Until next time,
Stay vibrant & embrace the gray.
